In addition to this there was the danger of water coming into contact with electrical switch gear and computers. The SEC solution Once the old layer of Asphalt was removed, and the surface re-levelled in areas of extreme ponding, a double layer of two part flexible Polyurethane coating, applied to a prepared & primed surface, was used to form a functional waterproofing anti-slip system. Reflective road markings were applied to denote traffic direction, This system carries a 10 year guarantee. SEC was also requested to treat all columns / soffits, against weather erosion, Following a power wash degrease, a anti-carbonation coating was applied to stop further salt ingress.
